Greenspace Scotland - Tesco Bags of Help Centenary Grant

Summary

The Centenary Grants are two special voting rounds of the Tesco Bags of Help local community grant scheme and offers a unique opportunity to help more people across five voting regions Scotland: Highland and Islands / North East Scotland; Mid Scotland; West Scotland; Central Scotland; South Scotland. The July/August 2019 voting period will feature projects with a Health and Wellbeing theme, and projects focusing on cancer, heart disease and diabetes will be prioritised. Eligible applications that meet the programme criteria which don’t have a Health and Wellbeing focus will be considered for a later funding round. The types of projects funded could range from: improvements to a building; improvements to an outdoor space; delivering activities or charitable services; providing equipment.

When to apply:
Applications are now open. Three community projects in each region will be voted on by customers in Tesco stores throughout the UK, in July/August and November/December 2019. However, it is advised that applications to be considered for the July / Aug customer vote should be submitted by the 18 April 2019.

Notes on award amounts:
Following the vote, the project that received the most votes in its area will receive a grant of up to £25,000, second place receiving up to £15,000 and third place up to £10,000. 100% funding is available.
